That is why we pay attention to the announcements and recommendations of the health authority of the Austrian Republic as well as to reports from the World Health Organization. We do our best in all areas to make your stay in the mountains pleasant and safe.
Where must mouth and nose protection be worn?
A mask must be worn at all times when queuing up on the ski bus, in the ski depot, as well as at lift stations and in all cable cars and lifts.
Wearing masks is compulsory in gondolas, in chairlifts with bubbles, and in closed access areas of the cable cars from the age of 14 (children between 6 and 14 years of age, usual MNS). In order to ensure everyone's safety, every guest over the age of six is required to wear mouth and nose protection in the prescribed areas without exception.
What can I use as a mouth and nose protection? Will I get one in the ski area?
An FFP2-Mask is no more mandatory. Althoug you need a mouth-nose-protection during rides with gondolas, train and lifts with a weather protection hoods.
The mask is issued for a fee of € 1,- at the cashdesk.
Where are there disinfection options in the ski area?
Disinfection systems are available in the toilet algae, in the checkout area, at the tunnel lift and in the restaurant.
How is the guest informed about the Corona security measures on site?
The guests are made aware of the applicable Corona safety regulations on site with the help of signs, loudspeaker announcements, lift and security personnel.
Are the cable cars and lifts being disinfected?
All public transportation (cabins, lift chairs, etc.) are regularly disinfected.
Are the employees of the cable car company trained about the Corona measures?
The employees of the cable car companies are trained or instructed according to uniform guidelines and regulations about the Corona safety measures.
Is there someone responsible for Corona in the company?
Each cable car company has employees which are responsible for Corona. They are responsible for planning and implementing the measurments.

Which rules apply to visiting the Restaurant Eissee?
- Masks are no more mandatory.
- Upon entering, a negative test, vaccination certificate, convalescence confirmation must be present
- The self-test is valid for 24h
- The antigen test is valid for 48h
- Negative PCR test: 72h
- For children, school tests are also considered as entry test
- Recovery confirmation is valid for 6 months
- Vaccination certificate, vaccination card or printout are valid 1 year from 22 days after the first vaccination
- Registration is mandatory for a stay longer than 15 minutes
- In closed rooms, consumption may only take place in a seated position.
- Consumption at the serving point (bar) is not allowed.
- Self-service buffets can be operated under hygiene conditions.
