The Ankogel high mountain lifts enchant you with their typical high alpine charm right from the start. The two iconic gondola lifts take you up to 2637 m above sea level and you are rewarded with a breathtaking view of the entire valley and the surrounding mountain landscape. The exit at the top station serves as a hub for many hikes around the Ankogel group, even the Mölltaler Glacier is connected to the Ankogel via the Tauern Höhenweg. For families, the circular hike to Arnoldhöhe is a good option, which takes no longer than an hour.
